I'm most completely obsessed with John Landis' 1981 masterpiece An American Werewolf In London about 2 American students who encountered said monster during the deep of winter in the English moors. It scared the bejesus out of me when I was little and in some ways it still does.
I can't wait to hit the moors myself - we're planning to go up North this time, perhaps to Wales, where the scenes were actually filmed.
