White Swan

Stills image from IMDB

Am I the only one who found Black Swan not at all dark?
I had great expectations going in, but came away feeling that it was all actually quite sweet. And feeling once again, that Hollywood's idea of dark just isn't.

Imagine my delight when we found this magical treat in the backyard, nestled in the thick of a humble fern.

Where did January go?

"Fairy Moon" image by David Delamare, via Celtic Lady

The first month of the first year of the new decade passed me by swiftly, with nary a whisper of drama.
I refused to keep the Christmas crib, desperately hanging on to the last breath of the festive season past.
Poe agreed to a facelift to make way for my new workspace.
We rediscovered long board walks in ungodly hours.
We lost our precious Bunny love

I remain resolute, and all the more certain I was born to do this.

I still have my gag order.

Thy Love for Faeries

Just chanced upon this book. The second in a series by Janni Lee Simner, this should aptly feed my faerie-obssessed soul.
