An Old New Life
Many moons have passed. I'm still the same person, but different. Like two ends of an ombre rainbow. A rainbow with just one color. Black? Probably not. But then again, black was never a color to me.

A Simple Christmas
Much has happened over the past 6 months which changed aspects of our lives forever. For good of course.
What better way to mark the birth of Christ then, with a sprinkling of fairy lights, a hint of Frankincense and Myrrh and last year's little angels from Vienna.
And a divine-smelling pine called Mr Tuna.

Sweet, Black and Hooded
October beckons, albeit distantly. Poe's mind fills with mischief.
Perhaps this is how we should look when we visit Ogilvy then.

And right back at ya!
The Dymo monster is at it again.
I get no flowers in the morning but a DIY dymo bracelet instead.
Then again I've never been a hearts and chocolates kind of girl.

Our Darling Bear
Rainbow Bridge
There is a bridge connecting heaven and earth
It is called Rainbow Bridge because of its many colours
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows,
hills, valleys with lush green grass
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this special place
There is always food and water and warm spring weather
The old and frail are young again
Those who are maimed are made whole again
They play all day with each other
There is only one thing missing
They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth
So each day they run and play until the day comes
when one suddenly stops playing and looks up !
The nose twitches !
The ears are up !
The eyes are staring !
And this one suddenly runs from the group !
You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet,
you take him or her into your arms and embrace
your face is kissed again and again,
and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated

But I have promises to keep

si la lumière est la vie,
qui est le soleil de ton univers?
si lux, vita,
qui soli in mundi?
qui est le soleil de ton univers?
se la luce è vita,
che è il sole nel tuo universo?
qui soli in mundi?
si la luz es la vida,
que es el sol en el universo?
que es el sol en el universo?

Ode to Poe
Out of the dreariness
Into its cheeriness
Come we in weariness
Home
I wish I wrote this line. But no, it's from American author Stephen Chalmers

Christmas 2011
"Wintermarchen"
There are holidays.
And then are places that completely steal your heart.
Far-flung, yet somewhat familiar. As if acquainted in my dreams.
Or perhaps, in a previous life.
Vienna was one of those, a pre-Christmas get-away with my dearest sister.
A magical ten days we shall hope to replicate.
Every year come First December.
